The best Eastern European restaurant you'll every try in California. I am Polish and know my Slavic foods. Most of the food on the menu my family makes from scratch so I am extremely picky when it comes to recipes - there's no cooking like mama's cooking! However this restaurant is incredible. From the decor, the music, atmosphere, to the food and drinks - I felt nostalgia and missed home. This is a great date night or friends night out place. We ordered the "Russian Feast" and the portions were incredible! Plenty of food for 4 people. We left fat and happy. It was the highlight meal of our trip to San Diego.

Me and my team last month stopped at this restaurant for lunch. I walked inside Pushkin and i felt like i was in Moscow. My first time eating Russian Cuisines. The place is really colorful as if you are really in Russia ready to eat. Couches are comfortable and enormous. We ordered some Lambshanks with a couple of alcolic drinks. Food is awesome, juicey flavorful lamb and salad. I forget the names of some of the other foods we tried, but we had a good time. Music was poppin n here. Waiters and servers are the nicest ever. They kept checking up on us and offering us desserts and more drinks. Great time, ill be back next time im in town.

I'm so glad we decided to come here. This place was a phenomenal experience and the food was unbelievably amazing. The owner and his wife were so hospitable and welcoming, and the service was top notch. This experience was beyond incredible, the food and ambiance was great and you should definitely come here. You will leave very happy. i highly suggest the sea bass and if you have an eastern European background you have to try the borscht, shut out to hail, so freaking hospitabl

I love Russian cuisine so my expectations were high when I sat down in this cozy little restaurant. The food here is delicious and is as authentic as you can get if you don't have the time to fly to the Motherland. The couple who own the restaurant are Russian themselves and the care they put into each dish is world-class.
My time in San Diego is limited but I will be visiting Pushkin Russian Restaurant many more times.

My first visit with a date and my daughter and this place rocks!! I loved everything about it....the ambience, the food, the drinks! It was all great....I had never tried Russian food but I am glad I did...I want to go again very soon!
